Workers at the factory rejected the Swedish engineering company's offer as a real-term pay cut of more than eight per cent when compared to the UK's projected 13.5 per cent price inflation. The Trelleborg factory in the north Gloucestershire town will be brought to a standstill by the union action.Īs a manufacturer of seals used by companies like Rolls Royce, Ferrari and Airbus, this industrial action will have a knock-on effect on the supply chains of these end-market manufacturers.
