![]() ![]() My niggles aside, I had fun reading this. The way everything was resolved with Bryson's dad didn't feel very believable to me, either, but this is a very fluffy story so it was expected. Michael is a very confident and no-nonsense person, so his reaction seemed out of character for him. Second of all, what he did at the Opening Day felt more like a plot device to add some drama. First of all, his character seemed somewhat one-dimensional to me. I didn't enjoy the whole situation with Bryson's dad and how it took over the story. The last part was a bit underwhelming for me. ![]() ![]() The pacing was perfect and I felt like I was there with them, every step of the way. I loved watching their arrangement turn into something more. This author writes relationship development and interactions between characters so well. I quite enjoyed the beginning of their story, but it's the middle part that I loved the most. I really liked Michael and Bryson, both as individual characters and as a couple. This was a very light, sweet and enjoyable read. ![]()
